 4 simple tricks to get your blogspot content to bloom

As a newbie to Blogspot, I'm constantly looking for ways in which to optimise my blog site content. If you are already a user of Blogspot then these may be things you already know. If not, I hope you find the below useful.

4 ways to optimise your blogspot content;

1. Blogspot Permalinks

According to the Domain Bias Web Search report, a URL is one of the most prominent factors website users consider when using search engines. Your blog post URL link is one of the most important factors in SEO an helps search engines to find your content


A permalink is your Blogspot post URL. The great thing about Blogspot is it automatically suggests URLs. But, you do have the ability to edit this link. One thing I'm trying to do is align my blog post title with the URL.

2. Keywords

These are the words and phrases included in your blog post content, that makes it possible to find your blog.

So, how do you decide what keywords to use?

Once you know what your blog content is going to be about, do your research around popular terms. There are lots of free tools such as; Google Keyword/Moz Key Word Explorer to help.

I've also found Google Trends helpful.

Its also recommended that the keyword density of your keywords is 2% or less of the blog post content.

3. Post Titles

Your blog post title is a great way to place to include your keyword. Not only does it capture the attention of the reader, but search engines too.

4. Labels

Labels help to categorise your blogspot content and are NOT keywords. But, when used correctly they can help to optimize your blogspot content.
