Hey, how is everyone doing? For me its a great time of the year because it's Black History Month, the month where we recognise the contributions that black people have made to the UK over many generations.

As a black female marketer from the West Midlands, I thought I'd dedicate this post to networking events for black professional and entrepreneurs in celebration of Black History Month.

Networking is a great way to expand your knowledge, learn from the success of others, meet potential new clients and tell others about your brand. When you build a strong and active business network, this can help to make your business grow.

Top 4 business networking events for Black Entrepreneurs and professionals in the West Midlands:

  1. One Africa Black History Month celebration is taking place 25th October and The networking discussions will revolve around the contributions and shine light on the successes that people of African and Caribbean descent have made over many generations in the UK. This is a free event taking place at Bantu Lounge in Birmingham. To register for the event visit Eventbrite
  2. nkonson - Birmingham Meet Up - With almost 400 members, this is a meet-up dedicated for Birmingham African Caribbean professionals organised by  Nkonson Media & Events. The next meet-up is taking place on 30th October for

  3. Black Young Entrepreneur: BUSINESS EXPO & TALENT SHOW 2019 organised by Kem's Salon, this is an opportunity for networking and watching young talented people from the West Midlands.
